I don’t know about where you are, but here in New York City, it’s getting cold! It is December, after all, and winter is sneaking up fast. I love wearing trendy boots all winter to keep warm but sometimes even those alone don’t cut it, especially when the temperatures dip into the 20s! If you live in colder climates, there’s a few things you can accessorize with, to make your boots and overall outfit even warmer!
Leg warmers + boots = cute! Especially if they are booties! They give a shorter boot the illusion of longer length and tuck in to be absolutely adorable! you can wear them under knee high boots as well, if you don’t want to show the world you are wearing them. But it always look cute to have them peeking out of the top of the boot.
You know those thick, warm socks you always wear around the house so your feet don’t get too cold? Boots are plenty big enough to wear them underneath! No one will ever know you are wearing bright, fuzzy socks but your toes will thank you!

We all have that awesome pair of
trendy boots we love. I have a pair from last year that now are starting to slowly fall apart because of worn soles. But there’s really no need to part with your favorite pair. You can get the resoled and keep on wearing them, which is about as green as you can get. Instead of throwing out shoes and having them fill landfills, you can instead keep using them. After all, worn in shoes are the most comfortable to wear. Their the ones that worked well with every dress and made your simpler outfits look amazing.
What’s even better about resoling is that if you are a do it yourself type, you can absolutely get it done on your own. There’s a lot of step by steps on the internet and it’ll only take you about a half hour to do. But any shoe repair shop can get them fixed as well, if you’d rather leave it in the hands of the professionals.
